I borrowed this animated GIF from today's "Google Doodle" just to illustrate how to download a picture from the Internet and then upload it to their web site. We talked about when it is or is not OK to use an image you find on the net. This one really shouldn't be used without permission, so I will take it down shortly
1. What is my project about?
I want to use the Thymio sensors to see something, then use Lego arms and pick it up.
2. What tools will I need to learn about for this project?
- How to program a Thymio robot using Aseba Studio
- How to connect Lego robot technology to Thymio robots
- How to make a web site about my project using Thymio
3. Is my project too easy? Too hard? Just hard enough to learn something cool? Is my project important to me personally, to my school, my community, the whole world?
The interface between the Thymio and the Lego-based arm may be pretty hard. If so, I'll simplify the idea slightly, but I still want the Thymio to sense an object and pick it up. It is important to me personally, but robotic technology in general is going to help make the world better. There are many applications such as exploring Mars.
